NPR Podcasts showcased by Google!
February 28th, 2009
A month ago, I received an email from Google’s Marketing department:
Hello! I’m Linda Tong, with the Android team at Google, and I am contacting you regarding your application on Android Market. Your application, NPR Podcasts, is currently one of the top apps in its individual category, and we would like to showcase it on the Android Market website at http://www.android.com/market/free.html#app=nprpodcasts.
And today, it shows:
There are still some bugs and improvements I need to make. But I really don’t have time now. Hmmm… need to squeeze some time…

I’m very proud of you, man. I heard the segment on “All Things Considered” today about Public Radio Tuner for the iPhone and it made me proud to have an app like yours already on Android.
Keep up the work and I look forward to future releases!
Thanks Kent!!! Without support like you guys, it wouldn’t have gone this far!
Having trouble downloading the NPR podcast app.
Sounds crazy, I know, but I can’t tell how to download this app. Could someone provide a hint on where to spot the download link? Thanks greatly.
You can go to your G1 Market application, go to News section and find it. Or search “NPR” it will show up
Any plans to add subscriptions for automatic download?
congratulations, big brother
@Ben
Android seems to have bug on multi-threading. I’m still trying to find a better workaround. Maybe Cupcake will fix some bugs. And of course, I need to squeeze some time out… -___- was real busy for the last few months…
